A BIG THANK YOU!

30 October, 2019

Thank you so much to everyone who visited Frequency 2019 from 24-27 October, to all our fantastic artists, and all the staff and volunteers who worked incredibly hard to make this festival such a success!

Thank you to our funder Arts Council England for all your support before and during Frequency Festival from the Frequency and Threshold Studios teams. We are very proud to be supported using public funding by Arts Council England, and are delighted to bring cutting-edge digital culture, thought-provoking and playful exhibitions to our public audiences, often outside the traditional gallery settings.

Thank you to our partner University of Lincoln, for connecting us to amazing undergraduate, graduate and academic talent, and for tirelessly supporting the development and growth of Frequency Festival and arts and culture in Lincoln. RADAR is a creative graduate accelerator scheme devised by Threshold Studios in collaboration with the University of Lincoln, and our RADAR interns have once again been invaluable for Frequency Festival 2019.

Thank you to Siemens for sponsoring The Fabratory, our laboratory for curious minds. Families had lots of fun learning about new technologies and playing with interactive games in the dedicated family-friendly dome on Cornhill. Siemens also sponsored The Meet Up 2019, which brought together collective voices from the creative industries to explore moving diversity forward in a technological age. Thanks also go out to all the Siemens staff that volunteered on Friday, showing visitors around the Fabratory and Siemens Driverless Car Challenge.

Thank you to Lincoln BIG for creating a vibrant welcome to the city for visitors and Frequency Festival. We are so grateful to the team for all their assistance and for the phenomenal Lincoln Creates Commission ‘I See You’ by Urban Projections.

Thank you to City of Lincoln Council for making it possible to welcome audiences to new city spaces, to new experiences and helping Frequency drive the festival vision and ambition forward alongside growth within the City of Lincoln.

We would also like to thank all of our supporters; Visit Lincoln, Centre for Culture and Creativity, Lincoln COOP, Lincoln Castle, The Collection and Usher Gallery, Lincoln Drill Hall, Gallery at St Martins, Mansions of the Future, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, St Marks Shopping Centre and Waterside Shopping Centre.

We are already looking forward to our next edition in 2021 and working with our funders, partners and everyone involved in Frequency once again!
