Artist and storyteller Thomas Buckley is premiering his work entitled Repositorium at Frequency Festival 2021! He is very interested in how objects hold the marks of the people who use them and tell individual stories. We asked him about his practice to find out more.

Darkfield Radio is an app where you can listen to an unsettling audio adventure comprising of six episodes across two seasons. Just like a real radio show, Darkfield can only be experienced at certain times of the day during the festival.

Frequency Festival 2021: Connection Meet a 9-meter inflatable robot snail, explore AR technology showing pollution in real-time and hear 3D immersive sound from streets around the world.

This free online session on Wednesday 18 August, 1pm-4pm (BST) is led by light artist Thomas Buckley, who will introduce participants to the basics of hacking, breaking, and inventing things, exploring themes of scale, surface, and working in a way that’s accessible.

As a proud partner in Digital Democracies we are pleased to announce the second Artist Development event - Masterclass #2: The Art of Sound. This free online session on Wednesday 21 July, 1pm-4pm (BST) is led by artist and sound designer Thor McIntyre-Burnie (Aswarm GB).

Frequency Festival returns 28-31 October 2021 with a theme reflecting our times: Connection Frequency Festival returns to animate the streets of Lincoln and exhibit works online for 4 days this autumn. This year’s theme of Connection is inspired by our desire to reconnect again. It is a response to the environment, digital inequity and re-emerging from the pandemic.
