Well, that’s a wrap for another year!
24 unique experiences and thousands of visitors helped transform Lincoln into a glowing after-dark destination. Even the weather was kind to us.
Thank you to everyone who came along, queued patiently, and explored everything the city had to offer. From hands-on workshops where we learned to beatbox, make lanterns and light paint, to reflective installations sharing powerful World War II stories of servicemen and women. We immersed ourselves in the rhythmic sights and sounds of the coast and nature, plunged into complete darkness to play an arcade game inside a shipping container, and experienced moments of sheer spectacle as the castle grounds came alive in a blaze of fiery light and sound.
We even managed a conga through Cornhill Market!
It’s the creativity, curiosity and community spirit that make Frequency Festival so special, and this year you truly brought the glow.
