When winter feels at its longest, Frequency returns to Lincoln from 19–21 February 2026, inviting you out into the city after dark to explore, wander, and see familiar places in a completely new light.
For three nights during February half-term, Frequency will turn Lincoln into a glowing playground of light, play and discovery. This isn’t a fenced-off festival with hefty entry fees. It’s a city-wide experience that encourages people of all ages to step outside, wrap up warm, and explore Lincoln safely at night.
We’ll be revealing the full programme in January but some of the city’s most iconic places will be part of the festival. Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle will take on new life after dark, while the Cornhill, City Square, High Street, and spaces across the city will be buzzing with creative surprises.
Frequency is about discovering or rediscovering Lincoln through shared experiences. It’s about walking streets you may know well and seeing them differently. Just follow the glow and see where it leads!
