The Meet Up: #1 Women In Tech

We’re pleased to introduce the inaugural THE MEET UP event coming up on 23 October 2019. We have a fantastic line up of speakers announced on THE MEET UP page and limited tickets are available including student and freelancer tickets.

The inaugural THE MEET UP event on 23 October 2019 will set the scene for Frequency 2019. The event will bring together the collective voices of the creative industries to explore ways in which we can move diversity forward in a technological age and help shape the future of digital.

Taking place in the historic city of Lincoln, at DoubleTree by Hilton, THE MEET UP 2019: #1 Women in Tech will be a packed day of influential speakers, creative technology showcases and panel discussions to reflect, debate and empower.

Ghislaine Boddington, Co-Founder and Creative Director of body>data>space / Women Shift Digital and an award-winning curator specialising in the future human, body responsive technologies and immersive experiences, is co-curating and co-hosting THE MEET UP 2019 alongside Uzma Johal MBE, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Threshold Studios and Co- Director of Frequency Festival.

We work on the principle that events should be low cost and high value – ensuring everyone is able to voice their opinion and connect with great minds. As we are a non profit social enterprise, ticket prices are set to cover the budget of putting on the event, enabling us to keep costs as low as we can for our attendees.
