Visionary, innovative, familiar, unnerving, curious, spell binding and generous. This is how arts production and development hub, Arch 468 describes their work.
They seek to subvert the mainstream by telling revolutionary stories in popular, accessible ways. Blazing new trails across the traditional arts landscape and supporting other companies and artists to do the same. They want to change the world by finding new ways to imagine what is possible and providing a model of artistic and personal bravery.
They aspire to revolution and generosity in all they do, and their practice melds the broad appeal of populist presentation with the visionary innovation of cutting-edge ideologies.
Since 2007, they’ve toured nationally and internationally, worked with some world-class artists, had a few hit shows, won some awards, surprised themselves and resisted the easy path.
Frequency asked Arch468 what connection meant to them:
“Arch 468 exists to connect with people–with audiences through the work we make and with artists through the work we develop.
We are passionate about using art to share stories and believe in the power of storytelling to connect and change lives.”
Arch468 is presenting HERstory at Frequency Festival 2021 all day from the 28th-31st October.
