Studio Above&Below, Frequency Festival and Lincolnshire Co-op (the owners of the land where Digital Atmosphere is sited) invites anyone who sees or experiences this work to consider how they can take positive steps to help the environmental challenges that we are all facing. These are some examples:
- Visit Our Plastic Ocean – a photographic exhibition by artist Mandy Barker at The Collection on Danesgate. Open throughout the Festival and until 19 December.
- Download Earth Hero – a Climate Change App that enables you to monitor your environmental impact and make changes to decrease your carbon footprint.
The University of Lincoln is also inviting artists to submit a piece of artwork for their One Step Greener exhibition. theme is the environment and can focus on anything from climate action to biodiversity in Lincoln. Artists must be local to Lincoln and can only submit one piece of artwork. The work can be created specifically for the exhibition or can have been exhibited previously elsewhere.
