FREQUENCY: Artist of the Future

6 November, 2019

As part of Frequency Festival 2019, in partnership with Waterside Shopping Centre and Lincoln BIG, Frequency set about finding the ‘Artist of the Future’.

We wanted to hear from our youngest visitors to the Festival: we wanted to know how our exhibitions and installations impacted and influenced them.

Using the Frequency ‘Artist of the Future’ map, families could find their way around the festival and discover our family-friendly programme. At the end of their Frequency adventure, the map was then used as a canvas to imagining what art and inventions in Lincoln could look like 100 years from now.

We were inundated with entries and amazed by the imagination and creativity of the young minds out there! After a very hard decision, we are both pleased and excited to announce our winners from each age category as:

Under 4’s: Jack Cole

Ages 5- 8: Rebekah Murray

Age 9 and up: Reuben Tomb

A huge congratulations to Jack, Rebekah and Reuben from everyone at Frequency and we very much hope you enjoy your prizes that are on their way to you now.
