Dive into the fascinating world of light-art sculpture with artist Graham Fudger. In this hands-on workshop, Graham brings a collection of intriguing materials into the studio, including prisms, mirrors, lenses, and acrylics.
Here, you’ll explore the technical and aesthetic aspects of crafting art with colour and light. Discover the spectral qualities of light, create scale models that react to light using LEDs and acrylic filters, and ponder the mysteries of mirrors in relation to the camera obscura. Get ready for some optical wonders, including examining your smartphone screen under a microscope to guess the colour of the hidden orange in a light-tight box.
