Diffeomorphism, a short ride through hyperspace, invites you to explore the unique ‘latent space’ of AI StyleGAN. Tim unveils an abstract universe using custom software and unconventional training data, pushing the boundaries of technology and art.
The installation uses projection and sound to create an immersive space, spend time within the imagery as it zooms in and out of different points in the AI’s landscape of potential images.
About the artist(s)
Tim Murray-Browne, a visionary artist, engineer, and coder based in Glasgow, delves into the captivating intersections of AI, dance, and generative audio-visual art. His creations redefine how technology influences human thinking and embodiment. Tim’s portfolio boasts interactive AI systems that translate dance into sound, audience-played musical instruments, audio-visual sculptures, and technologically augmented performances.
With accolades like the Sonic Arts Prize and a presence at prestigious venues like Tate Modern and the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tim’s work is nothing short of groundbreaking.
